It's the fastest way to find a particular information, or a specific individual (one of your ancestors for example).

The search tool is located at the bottom of many of the pages. To use it, just write a word, a name or a sentence in the text box. You can seek for a person, a place... what you want!

Once you have made your choice, click on the Find ! button. The search engine will scan throughout the site, trying to find pages where there is the word/all words that you have wrote. A new page will appear with the results of the search. On this page there will be links to the pages where the words were found, each with a little summary (that helps to select the best link if there are several results).

If the search does not give the expected results, use different keywords or a less specific expression. For example, instead of searching for "Pierre Remi Vadnais", search for "Pierre".
