The structure that we see in the forefront of this view of Laframboise street, in Saint-Nazaire d'Acton, is an ancient general store. It was known under the name of "Magasin Parenteau" (Parenteau Store), the name of an ancient proprietor that has reconstructed it after the fire of 1923. This business was successively run by Hormisdas Parenteau, Bruno Camirand, Joseph Benoit, Albany Archambault, M. Desrosiers, Hercule Laramee, Fernande Beaunoyer, Micheline Laramee. This last had, in 1984, to cease holding shop.
